Lush Bunny Bubble Bar

SAM_1715

This little cutie is the Lush Bunny Bubble Bar and, unsurprisingly, is part of Lush’s Easter collection. Okay, so it doesn’t massively look like a bunny, but they gave it a shot.

Lush describe this as having the same fragrance as the Creamy Candy bubble bar but I haven’t tried that so I can’t verify the claim. However, I can describe the scent for you. It has a very gentle, subtle fragrance, which reminds me of the white part of The Comforter Bubble Bar. It’s a bit soapy and like traditional bubble bath, but apparently it’s a mixture of vanilla, shea butter and coconut oil.

I was surprised when I started crumbling this under my running tap, because it isn’t white the entire way through. In fact, only a thin layer on the top is. The rest is a pink colour. It turned my water a mauve colour, which was quite sophisticated. After a while i noticed the tiny cornflower petals floating in the water. At first I thought they were cute, but then they started to annoy me. I also found the bunny’s eyes floating by me, as they didn’t seem to dissolve.

Overall I would say this bubble bar is mediocre. The scent didn’t wow me and all the bits in the bath were kind of annoying. This seems to be Lush’s new “thing” but I think it needs to stop now.
